- Orders come through into NetSuite automatically (EDI)
- When receiving a Houzz order through NetSuite you will begin by opening it in a tab by itself and then you will need to log into the Houzz Portal
Username: redstargroup
Password: RST1234!
- When first Logging into the Houzz Portal you will need to hover your mouse over the RST bubble in the tab on the top of the page on the far-right corner, example below.
- You will then choose the “Vendor Dashboard” on the drop-down options, after selecting this you will then choose “Orders” on the left-hand side of the page, example below.
- After choosing “Orders” you will then go to the option on the top of the page “Filter by Order Type:” and choose the option “Charged” and then click “Filter Results” this will show you all pending approval and pending fulfillment orders, this is where you can confirm pricing as well as get the correct ship method for each order, as well as where you can print BOLS and PS. IF there is multiple quantity when you go to print your PS there will be an option to split Quantity be sure to split everything into 1’s nothing should have a quantity of more than one on the PS. Example of an order in the Houzz Portal Below.
- Houzz Ship Methods:
**NO ACCOUNT #’S**
- AGS
- ABFS (also known as ABF Trucking)
- CEVA
- CEVA WHITE GLOVE
- FEDEX GROUND
- CEVA SHIP METHOD
- When coming across an order using either “CEVA” or “CEVA White Glove” you will need to add the Tracking # to the order before you approve it. To access the tracking number for each order you will need to go to the Houzz portal and filter the orders to charged (you can find these steps above) you will then click on “Print Bill of Lading” this will open the BOL up on the same page, the BOL will have tracking for each CEVA order, this is the only carrier for Houzz that you will need to do this process on, after adding tracking into the shipping tab on the NetSuite order (example below) you can then approve.
AFTER CUTOFF 11AM
- After all orders have been updated and approved for the day after 11am (this is our Cutoff Time) you will then need to schedule Pickups for the following Carriers below,

- The other carriers for Houzz only require an email called a “Status Update” which is sent via email format to the WH, to see what the exact status of the orders is when sending this email you can combine all orders with the following carriers, these carriers are,
- CEVA
- CEVA WHITE GLOVE
- FEDEX GROUND
SHIPPED ORDERS
**Also known as “Billed” in NetSuite**
- You will need to review the Houzz Portal Daily, this means going through the steps above to go through all the sections until you reach the orders page and can filter to current pending approval and fulfillment orders, once you are able to view these orders you will take each PO# and search them in NetSuite and open each order individually if an order is showing “Billed” in NetSuite and has an Invoice attached with the order, you can go ahead and “Ship” the order in the Houzz Portal, Only ever click the “Ship” button if the actually order itself has shipped.
Back Orders
- Houzz does not accept Back Orders, If an order is placed on BO and is not cancelled this can affect our Vendor Score which can affect our Buyer Rating Score, this means every time an order becomes Out of Stock or Discontinued it will need to be cancelled in NetSuite and the Houzz Portal, make sure if the order is Pending Fulfillment you cancel with the WH first before cancelling in NetSuite and the Houzz Portal. When an Item is Out of Stock you will need to enter an availability date for when the item will be available again to be safe do two weeks after the date of the item coming back into stock, when an item is Discontinued and not coming back you will just enter in the discontinued code and submit this will let Houzz know the exact Inventory of certain Items. (Example of Out of Stock and Discontinued Houzz codes)
